for Effective Grantseeking

Identifying Your Needs

Maybe your organization only needs grant research in a single issue area. Or maybe you need to build a fundraising operation from scratch. We’ll work with you to clarify your needs and establish broad goals.

Making a Plan

Once we’ve agreed on where you’re going, we’ll help you develop a plan to get there by identifying new funding opportunities, developing needed outreach materials, and nailing down a timeline for action.

Staying on Track

We’ll collaborate closely with you to keep things moving forward—building out your list of funders to approach, making sure proposals get written and get out the door, and following up to help you respond to funder feedback and requests.

Process and Pricing

We work with a limited number of clients to ensure we can give each one the attention they need. Our fees are based on a scope of work and agreed-upon deliverables, as well as your organization’s budget, with sliding-scale pricing to ensure our services are accessible to all.

Why Inside Philanthropy Fundraising Intelligence

Inside Philanthropy was created with a simple goal: to pull back the curtain on one of the most powerful and dynamic forces shaping society. Every day, our team digs into how foundations and major donors are giving away their money—and why. Over the past decade, we’ve built unmatched insider knowledge about thousands of funders working across dozens of issue areas and geographies. We created IP’s consulting arm because we believe that the resources of philanthropy should be accessible to all nonprofits, not just to those with the right connections.
