Grants for Journalism
Its grantmaking program, Reporters Respond, provides emergency grants to “journalists and media outlets in distress, enabling them to resume work as quickly as possible when faced with a crisis situation.”
- Reporters Respond grants are designated for journalists and media personnel and have provided funding for issues including medical care, mental health care, basic needs, family support, housing and preventative safety measures and training.
- Grants are not intended for journalists experiencing general financial hardship.
