BACKGROUND: Stewart Horejsi graduated from University of Kansas in 1962. He took over his family’s welding company. Horejsi began buying stock in Berkshire Hathaway for as little as $265 after reading an investment book. EDUCATION & YOUTH: Horejsi has steadily supported his alma mater the University of Kansas, which his son John also graduated from.
